ENCORE PERFORMANCE AT THE BEAN!

Rebecca & Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe are singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist sisters creating their own brand of Roots Rock 'n' Roll: gritty, soulful, and flavored by their southern heritage. Originally from Atlanta and currently living in Nashville, they are descendants of tortured artist and creative genius Edgar Allan Poe.

Larkin Poe have steadily picked up accolades along their journey. In 2014, The Observer named them “best discovery of Glastonbury.” That same year, T Bone Burnett tapped them to record harmonies and instrumentals on Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, slotting Rebecca & Megan alongside names including Marcus Mumford, Elvis Costello, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, and Rhiannon Giddens. Larkin Poe’s self-produced third album, Peach, was nominated for the Blues Foundation’s Best Emerging Artist Album Award, and the Blues Music Awards nominated them for Best Emerging Artist. Larkin Poe’s fourth album, 2018’s Venom & Faith, hit #1 on the Billboard blues chart.

They recently released their 4th independent album, Venom & Faith. The album was recorded in Nashville and produced by both the band and engineer Alan Nichols. “It’s a celebration of American roots music as translated by two sisters who are playing the blues in a modern age.” Rebecca Lovell. The album has garnered rave reviews from the music industry and fans.
