2016 Blues Music Award Nomination | Soul Blues Album of the Year
2015 Blues Blast Music Award Nomination

From his Manhattan roots and his Indiana and Chicago musical upbringing, Tad has caught the attention of the music world with his seven Blues Music Award nominations (the Grammys of blues music) and his many recordings, including the song “Rained All Night” which was nominated for Blues Song of the Year at the 2011 Blues Music Awards.

He’s a veteran of countless national and international tours, including many of the most important international blues festivals. With harmonica chops schooled by Big and Little Walter, Sonny Boy I and II, Junior Wells, and James Cotton among many, and vocals comparable to Otis Redding, Syl Johnson, Al Green, and Teddy Pendergrass, Tad ranks as one of the most unique and talented members of the international blues and soul communities.

Tad Robinson will perform a tribute to the Windy City - Chicago Blues with his full band out of Indianapolis with Kevin Anker on keys, Paul Holdman guitar, Jeff Chapin on drums and Dave Murray and very special guests Dave Specter and Deitra Farr.

DAVE SPECTER | Blues guitarist, bandleader and producer Dave Specter has earned an international reputation as one of the premier talents on the Chicago blues scene. Since 1985 Specter has performed regularly at top Chicago blues and jazz clubs in addition to festivals and concert halls throughout the USA. DEITRA FARR is considered one of Chicago ’s top vocalists, according to Living Blues Magazine (May 1997). Fiery, energetic, and soul-stirring describes this woman, who has over the years been nominated for Traditional Female Blues artist of the year by the W.C. Handy Awards, Female Blues Artist of the year by the Living Blues Critics Awards, the British Blues Connection Awards, and the Les Trophees France Blues awards. On October 4, 2015 Deitra was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame as a " Legendary Blues Artist ".
