Frequently Asked Questions

We know everyone has questions about the fest. Hopefully we have the answers!  If not, email or Facebook us the question, and we will answer it here!

What can I bring to the fest?

We are a very friendly event and like to say YES! We allow you to bring in alcohol, coolers packed with food and drinks, blankets, lawn chairs, bicycles, golf carts and anything else that makes you feel at home.

Can I bring my dog to the fest?

YES! As long as they are on a leash and not running free, pets are welcome.

Can I rent a golf cart to get around the fest?

YES! Golf carts can be rented at the same time you order your tickets. They go fast, so order yours today.

Can I camp at the fest?

The fest is located at Bill Monroe Music Park and Campground. Camping is available by making reservations directly with Bill Monroe Music Park. Tent, campers and RV's are welcome.

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Tickets will be available to purchase at the gate, but you can save money by purchasing them in advance with our early-bird weekend passes.

Can I come and go from the fest?

Yes! We allow you to go explore Brown County and come back for the entertainment. We wristband everyone, which will be your re-entry into the festival. Just remember to keep your wristband securely fastened to your wrist!

What kind of vendors will be at the event?

We will have a variety of food vendors on site - plenty of food for you to choose from. We will also have other types of vendors, including our official t-shirt and posters.

Can I purchase alcohol at the event?

YES! We will have a variety of beers, special selection of Indiana craft beers and wine available for purchase at our beer pavilion.

Do you accept cash and credit cards?

Yes, many of the vendors will accept either cash and/or credit cards depending on the vendor. The beer pavilion will accept both and there will be an ATM machine onsite.

Do I need to bring a valid ID?

Yes, we will id everyone at the gate and issue wristbands based on your age and matching id. If you don't have a valid id, you will received an under age wristband and won't be allowed to purchase alcohol. So....don't forget your valid picture ID!

Is parking free?

YES! Parking is located in front of the event site and is an easy walk to the stage and festivities. We recommend comfortable shoes.

Do you offer shuttle service around the park?

YES! We offer free shuttles around the park with our 6 person golf cart. Just stop by the Beer Pavilion and let them know you need a shuttle. They will be happy to assist you in getting to your destination.

Where are the jams sessions?

Many of the jam sessions simply "pop up" throughout the park. You can find them at various campsites, Cabin 12, Hippy Hill stage and anywhere else a few of your fellow festival friends have decided to sit down and play. We encourage everyone to walk around the campsites with your instruments in hand, you never know when you will find that perfect jam!
